In such a situation, when its rival Honda 2-Wheelers launched the Honda Activa E, an electric version of its popular scooter Activa in India, Bajaj also decided to compete with the new generation Chetak.
Bajaj Chetak has consistently remained one of the top-3 selling scooters in the electric scooter segment since 2023. Its demand also remains very strong. What will be special in the new generation Chetak?
Large boot space:
The new Bajaj Chetak has been developed on a completely new chassis, which will give it a larger boot space than before.
Design changes:
The overall design of the scooter will remain the same as the current Chetak, but some changes can be seen in it.
Better range:
The company can provide a new battery pack in it, which will increase the range of the scooter on a single charge. Currently, the range of Chetak is 123-137 km. This figure can be better in the new generation.
Bajaj Chetak Price
It is expected that its price will be the same as the current version, whose ex-showroom price is between ₹ 96,000 to ₹ 1.29 lakh. Bajaj Chetak will compete with scooters already present in the market like Ather Rizta, TVS iQube, Ola S1, Honda Activa E, and Honda Q1. Recently Honda Activa E has been launched, which has a range of 102 km and comes with a swappable battery. Bajaj plans to challenge all of them by introducing Chetak with better range and features.
