Bajaj Chetak 3201: Bajaj Auto has launched the all-new Chetak 3201 Special Edition in India for Indian customers. This new version of the electric scooter is priced at Rs 1.30 lakh, ex-showroom. Based on the top-spec Premium variant of the two-wheeler, the new EV version is currently available for purchase on Amazon.
Bajaj Chetak 3201 Special Edition has been improved in several ways compared to the base variant of the model. To be more precise, it comes only in Brooklyn Black and has a ‘Chetak’ decal on its side panels. Moving on, to differentiate the new edition from the standard Premium variant of the electric scooter, the homegrown manufacturer has introduced scuff plates and dual-tone quilted seat for the Chetak 3201.
LED lighting setup and Design
No changes have been made to it. As before, it comes with a steel body. Its design and features are similar to the Premium variant. The special edition of Bajaj Chetak electric scooter has ‘Chetak’ decals on the side panel, scuff plate and dual-tone seat. Apart from this, it has a body colored rear view mirror, satin black grab rail and matching pillion footrest and charcoal black finish on the headlamp casing.
Bajaj Chetak 3201 electric scooter has disc brakes, alloy wheels, LED lighting, telescopic front suspension, metal body panels and a battery with IP67 waterproofing. For braking, it has drum brakes on both sides.
Range of 136 km on full charge and top speed of 73 kmph
The Chetak 3201 Special Edition gets a 3.2kWh battery pack, which gives a range of 136 km on full charge. It takes 5 hours 30 minutes to charge. It covers a distance of 100 km. This is more than the range of 127 km of the current premium model. The top speed of this electric scooter is 73 kmph.
Bajaj Chetak 3201 Engine
In this special edition scooter of Bajaj Chetak, the company has given a battery pack of 3.2 kW. With the help of this battery, this electric scooter gives a range of about 136 km once fully charged. At the same time, its standard variant scooter is ARAI certified. It gets a range of 127 km. Also, in this new edition, the company has given a top speed of 73 kmph.

If we look at the features of Bajaj Chetak Special Edition Electric Scooter, the company has given a digital instrument cluster with TFT display in it. Apart from this, modern features like turn-by-turn navigation, hill-hold control, call alert with music control have been given in this scooter. According to Bajaj Auto, the new Chetak 3201 Special Edition is the first collaboration of its kind between the electric vehicle manufacturer and the e-commerce giant. Customers will be able to complete the purchase of the e-scooter online with the rest of the paperwork done by the dealership. Bajaj recently announced a partnership with Flipkart to sell its motorcycle range online.

The Chetak 3201 Special Edition is priced at Rs 1.28 lakh ex-showroom and is also eligible for Electric Mobility Promotion Scheme (EMPS) subsidy.
