MSI has released a range of new laptops created with both gamers and professional content creators in mind. The laptops are equipped with Intel’s 13th Gen Core CPUs and Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 40-series GPUs, as well as Nvidia’s Studio drivers which are designed for content creation applications. These laptops are expected to become available for purchase in the US shortly, with availability in India to follow shortly thereafter.
The latest MSI Creator Z17 HX Studio and Creator Z16 HX Studio laptops are equipped with Intel’s 13th Generation HX-series Core CPUs, ranging from the Core i9-13950HX with 24 cores, designed to deliver desktop-level performance. Additionally, a new vapour chamber cooler is incorporated in both models. Regarding graphics, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 with 8GB of GDDR6 RAM is the most powerful option. RAM can be maxed out at 64GB of DDR5 and there is one PCIe 5.0 X4 slot to accommodate a high-speed NVMe SSD.

The Creator Z17HX Studio is the larger of the two, weighing in at 2.49kg and boasting a 17.3-inch QHD+ 16:10 2560×1200-pixel IPS-class panel with a 165Hz refresh rate and 100 percent DCI-P3 colour coverage. The slightly more portable Z16 HX Studio weighs 2.35kg and features a 16-inch 120Hz panel with the same resolution and other specifications.
Both models come with Thunderbolt 4, an SD Express card slot, an IR webcam, a fingerprint sensor, per-key RGB LED backlighting and a quad-speaker sound system. Prices begin at $2,999 (roughly Rs. 2,48,225 before taxes) and $2,899 (around Rs. 2,39,950) respectively.

MSI has recently unveiled their revamped Prestige 14 Evo and Prestige 16 Evo models, as well as a brand new laptop, the Prestige 13 Evo. This laptop is the lightest one in MSI’s range, constructed out of an aluminum alloy, and weighing only 990g. Despite its thin and light form, it can still offer up to 15 hours of battery life.
The Prestige 13 Evo and the other two larger models come with Intel’s Iris Xe integrated graphics, up to a Core i7-13700H CPU, 16GB of soldered LPDDR5 RAM, Windows 11, a white backlit keyboard, an IR webcam, a fingerprint sensor, and a microSD card slot. Additionally, the Prestige 16 Studio model can be equipped with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 discrete GPU.

MSI has refreshed its Modern series with updated hardware and additional colour options, as well as introducing the Summit Flip Evo model with a 13.4-inch full-HD touchscreen.
MSI has unveiled their new MSI Pen 2 stylus, which is compatible with a wide range of laptops due to its MPP 2.6 standard, and features haptic feedback and 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity. Not only that, but the pen can also be used as a regular pen for taking notes on paper, eliminating the need to switch between writing tools.
