On Wednesday, Reliance Jio and Motorola announced their partnership to make it possible for users to experience True 5G on Motorola’s 5G mobile device range in India. The software updates rolled out by Motorola have enabled users to get access to Jio’s True 5G network through their 5G-enabled smartphones.
Sunil Dutt, President of Reliance Jio, proclaimed that Motorola’s advanced 5G features such as carrier aggregation, 4×4 Mimo, and support for most 5G bands in India, in combination with the Jio True 5G network, will bring the full power of 5G to India.
Jio users who have Motorola devices will be able to enjoy unlimited 5G internet in areas with active Jio True 5G services through the Jio Welcome Offer.
Motorola 5G smartphone users can now take full advantage of Jio’s True 5G experience thanks to a fully independent 5G network architecture, and no reliance on 4G networks.
Prashanth Mani, Executive Director of Motorola Asia Pacific, expressed in a statement that Motorola smartphones provide an incredibly dependable, enhanced, and quick 5G experience regardless of the price point, affirming their promise to deliver True 5G – the widest range of 5G smartphones for Indian customers with support for up to 13 5G bands at different prices.
