However, it is not that much surprising for the Indian audience. King Khan has that much name and fame to be on the list. But there is one more Indian name on the list that will surprise you for sure.
He is none other than RRR and Bahubali’s creator SS Rajamouli. No Indian director made it to this list till now. Here’s the full report.
SS Rajamouli And Shahrukh Khan Are Two of the Most Influential People In 2023
As per the recent list of Times Magzine, superstar Shahrukh Khan and South Indian director SS Rajamouli are two of the most influential people in 2023. For creating this list, Times magazine created a poll on its website to know the audience’s point of view.
According to the list, Shahrukh Khan beats footballer Lionel Messi by a huge gap of 1.4 million votes. This is one of the best achievements of the actor’s life.
As we can see on the official website of Times Magzine, Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone wrote Shahrukh Khan’s profile in his honour.
She wrote, “I’ll never forget the first time I met Shah Rukh Khan. I had just arrived in Mumbai from Bangalore with one suitcase and a dream. The next thing I knew, I was sitting in his house! I was being considered for a role in a film opposite him.”
“It’s been 16 years since. What makes our relationship special is the love, trust, and respect we have for one another. Shah Rukh Khan will forever be known as one of the greatest actors of all time. But what truly sets him apart is his mind, his chivalry, and his generosity.”

On the other hand, another Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt wrote pens down a note on the Time Magzine’s website for SS Rajamouli.
She wrote, “The first time I met S.S. Rajamouli was at the preview of Baahubali 2. We were all extremely starstruck. And even while I was watching the movie, I was like, Oh my God, what a dream it would be to work with this director. Lo and behold, the dream came true.”
“Being directed by him in RRR was like going to school all over again. He knows the audience he’s serving. He knows what beats to hit, what turns to take. I call him the master storyteller because he genuinely loves the flair and abandon of stories.”
