One beautiful soul left the music industry of Britain. Martin Duffy a famous Briton keyboardist died at the age of 55.

Martin Duffy played the keyboards for Primal Scream and Felt died a sudden death. Everyone in the music industry is saddened by the demise of their famous keyboardist.

Duffy joined the indie rock band Felt as a keyboard player in 1985. He later worked with other famous band groups Primal Screams and Charlatans.

The Charlatans singer Tim Burgess said, “his death was another tragic loss of a beautiful soul.”

Martin Duffy was born in Birmingham on 18 May 1967 and grew up in Rendal.

He grew up listening punk rock, as well as two-tones, the Beatles and Led Zeppelin. At the age of 16 he first joined the indie rock band Felt as a keyboard player in 1985.

Duffy became a hit in the band as they signed to Creation Records, in 1986 The Seventeenth Century, when the band was at its peak.

In 1989 after Felt disbanded Duffy joined the Primal Scream band permanently.

Duffy also played with the Charlatans band in 1996 following the death of his Founding Member Rob Collins.

He also gave soundtracks in movies like The Laughing King (2016) and Wild Rose (2017).

He died on 18 December 2022 at the age of 55 due to a brain injury after he suffered a fall at home in Brighton.
