Maharashtra Crosses 3,000 After 328 Test Results Came Positive

Maharashtra, the state with the highest number of cases of the corona is still at the top position. Now, the state gots 328 new cases of coronavirus after the results of the test of 328 persons came out positive. With this number, the total number of covid-19 cases in Maharashtra reaches to 3,648.

Maharashtra government has been following all the strict guidelines from the Centre. Still, the state is not seeing a decrease in the overall cases. The state is still leading the highest number of cases across the country. The state witnesses more than 200 deaths so far.

The rising number of cases are raising tensions among the Maharashtra government. The active hotspots of the state are the two slum areas. These are Dharavi and Govandi.

Controlling these areas and strictly applying the preventive measures thus seem most robust. And not only these but more cases are coming from the covid-19 hotspots of the state. The state has already categorized the areas in red, orange, and green zones. The areas at the highest risk come under red zones. There are orange zone areas indicating areas with moderate risks. Green zone areas are those with no cases of covid-19.

After Maharashtra, Delhi and Madhya Pradesh are in the top list of state with the highest number of cases. Earlier, Rajasthan was in the third position, and MP was the fifth state in the list. But, now, the active cases in MP are more than in Rajasthan.

The latest figure for active cases in India is 14,793. However, more than 2000 people have recovered from coronavirus and discharged. But the number of deaths across the country will soon reach 500. At present, 488 deaths are due to coronavirus across the country.
