The fifth phase of the Lok Sabha elections, which took place in 49 parliamentary constituencies across eight states and union territories, saw an overall voter turnout of 57.51%. West Bengal drove with 73% turnout, trailed by Ladakh at 67.15 percent, Jharkhand at 63%, and Odisha at 60.72 percent. Uttar Pradesh saw 57.79 percent, Jammu and Kashmir 54.67 percent, Bihar 52.60 percent, and Maharashtra 49.01 percent.
West Bengal Receives Highest Lok Sabha Voting
According to data from the Election Commission, 73% of voters in seven constituencies in West Bengal cast ballots. Arambag had the highest participation rate of 76.90%, followed by Bangaon (75.73%), Uluberia (74.50%), Hooghly (74.17%), Sreerampur (71.18%), and Howrah and Barrackpore (68.84%).
Maharastra Receives Lowest Voting
Maharashtra recorded the most reduced elector turnout at 49.01 percent, with under 45% surveying in Mumbai South in Lok Sabha Elections. Shiv Sena (UBT) pioneer Aaditya Thackeray guaranteed there were a great deal of grievances from balloters about offices outside surveying stalls.
“Voters have expressed a lot of dissatisfaction with the facilities outside the booths @ECISVEEP. At the very least, placing fans and shade in the voter lines could be helpful. They only require the essentials to maintain their cool. “Please investigate,” Thackeray wrote on X.
Moderate Voting In UP & Bihar
In Bihar, a citizen turnout of 52.60 percent was kept in five Lok Sabha supporters, with the most noteworthy surveying in Muzaffarpur at 55.30 percent. 53.81 percent of people showed up in Hajipur, followed by 53.50 percent in Sitamarhi.
In 14 constituencies, 57.79 percent of people voted for Uttar Pradesh. The most noteworthy turnout was in Barabanki at 66.89%, trailed by Hamirpur at 60.36%, and Banda at 59.46%.
