Kerela Couples Come Up With A Unique Way of Protesting Against The CAA!

The countrywide protests against CAA are gaining new summits every day.
Amidst the gut-wrenching news of violence pouring in from everywhere, the unique initiative by newlywed couples in Kerala has brought hope, like a cool breeze in a barren desert.

Couples in various parts of Kerela have taken to Social Media to post their wedding pictures wherein the bride and the groom are holding placards with the words:

“No CAA… No NRC”

One video, in particular, has gone viral in which the bride and groom are walking to the reception area holding placards, whereas, in another one, the couple, along with their friends are raising slogans against the amended law.

Another witty protest showed a bride walking hand in hand with the broom on a busy road, holding the placard.
In yet other picture surfaced, a Hindu groom is seen wearing a skullcap walks with the bride, needless to say, he took the ‘clothes’ remark of Mr Modi rather seriously! *Wink*

One of such couples Arun Gopi and Asha Shekhar who recently shot their pre-wedding pictures, holding placards against the CAA and the National Register of Citizens said they wanted to convey their opinion innovatively.

Even the students gave their Christmas celebrations a rather political touch with Santa Claus carrying placards and posters against the CAA and holding photographs of national leaders like Gandhiji and B.R. Ambedkar.

Now, who said Indians are not creative?
