On the occasion of his 77th birthday on Monday, Kabir Bedi has been reflecting on the many highs and lows he has experienced in his life. The Khoon Bhari Maang actor has been married four times and has had numerous relationships over the years. He recently published his memoir, Stories I Must Tell: The Emotional Life of an Actor, in which he speaks candidly about his past loves.

Kabir stated that he understands why people may have labeled him as a ‘womaniser’, due to his multiple relationships. He clarified that none of these relationships were short-lived, saying that two of them had lasted for 15 years each. He further stated that he had learnt a lot from these significant relationships.

Kabir famously stated that if a relationship can’t stand the test of time, it’s best to end it while it’s still peaceful and loving. All of his ex-wives have remained on friendly terms with him, including Protima Bedi, Susan Humphreys, Nikki Bedi and his current wife Parveen Dusanj, whom he married in 2016.

Kabir recalled a special incident from when his third wife held a Christmas dinner and welcomed both his former spouses. He fondly remembered the moment, saying that he has a photograph from that day that he cherishes. “It stands as a testament to the kind of relationships I’ve had, and even after they ended, they remained in my life,” he stated.
Kabir Bedi discussed how he had met all the obligations that were demanded of him. Together with his first wife, Protima, he had two kids, namely Pooja Bedi and Siddharth Bedi, who passed away in 1997 at the age of 26. He also has a son, Adam, with his second wife, Susan. He had a lengthy relationship with the actress Parveen Babi, yet they never tied the knot.
