Kartik Aaryan expressed his optimism that Shehzada will become a box-office success, dubbing it a “family mass entertainer,” on Thursday. He added that he hopes the movie will make over Rs 200 crore in earnings.
Aaryan, the star of the hit film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 which was one of the few successful Bollywood movies released in 2022, believes that the film’s success will be advantageous to the industry.

I’m thankful for the support of moviegoers who have gone to the theater to watch my films, and I’m hoping for a similar response for my latest work and any films I make in the future. I’m hoping Shehzada will reach the 200 crore milestone.

Aaryan expressed his delight at the prospect of producing Shehzada and the benefits it would bring to the industry. He encouraged families to come to the theater, calling the film a “total family mass entertainer.” At the trailer launch in Mumbai, he spoke to reporters about his new venture.
Shehzada, helmed by Rohit Dhawan, pairs Kartik Aaryan with Kriti Sanon again, whom he previously shared the screen with in Luka Chuppi. The cast also includes Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala, Ronit Roy and Sachin Khedekar.
The movie, helmed by Bhushan Kumar, Allu Aravind and Aman Gill, is an official Hindi remake of the 2020 Telugu action drama Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo featuring Allu Arjun in the lead role.
Kumar, the producer of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, expressed his wish that Shehzada would exceed the financial success of the Anees Bazmee-directed horror comedy from last year.

Allu Aravind, co-producer of Shehzada and father of Pushpa: The Rise star Allu Arjun, expressed his admiration for Aaryan’s work in the film, believing it will surpass the box office record of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. He asserted that the movie has something for everyone, as it contains elements of family, action, comedy, and music, making it an even bigger family entertainer than its predecessor.
Kriti Sanon expressed her admiration for her co-star Kartik Aaryan, noting that their collaboration was a positive one. She was highly impressed with the first footage of their joint project. She stated, “I have had a long relationship with Bhushan and it has always been a successful one. As soon as I saw the first clips of our hero (Kartik), I was in awe. I have enjoyed working with Kartik Aaryan because we look good together onscreen.”

Rohit Dhawan, director of Shehzada, expressed his admiration for Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon, remarking that the two have gone “beyond his expectations” in their performances for the movie. He noted that Aaryan had put in his “blood, sweat, and literally everything” in making the film. Dhawan also said that he loves working with Aaryan, is comfortable with him as a friend, and that they look good together. Shehzada is set to release on February 10
