Due to the complex climate conditions, Nepal has been the hub of unforeseen flight crashes. Recently, a twin-engine ATR-72 plane from Yeti Airlines crashed. The plane was carrying 72 people including 68 passengers and 4 crew members. The flight was traveling from Kathmandu (Nepal’s Capital) to Pokhara, a tourist in the Himalayan Range.

An Indian passenger named Sonu Jaiswal that was traveling on the plane was making a Facebook Live video just before the plane crashed. The video shows disturbing footage of people getting panicked due to the incident. The passenger was recording a view of the city from the window seat. All of a sudden, an explosion happened and the plane caught fire. The passengers didn’t think the incident would end in such a tragic way until the very last minute.

Another video from the ground shows that the plane first tilted to its left and then it flipped upside down. After that, the plane faced an explosion and turned into a ball of fire and that caused such a terrific tragedy.

As per the reports, the rescue mission is still undergoing and 68 dead bodies have been recovered until now. Moreover, the team is continuously trying to find 4 remaining passengers and we could only hope that any or all would have survived the incident.
The reason for the crash is still unknown; however, the investigators are trying to find the black box from the plane that might help solve the mystery. Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has ordered all the governing bodies in Nepal to look into the matter and complete the rescue mission at the earliest convenience.
