Kasinadhuni Viswanath was a famous Indian film director, screenwriter, and director during his career. He was born on 19 February 1930 in Repalle of Guntur district, Andhra Pradesh. Although he worked in every cinema industry in India he was primarily known for his work in Telegu cinema.

K. Vishwanath Garu’s Career and Achievements

K. Vishwanath started his career as an audiographer and later started producing films. He has produced 53 films during 60 years of his career. He has produced films in various genres including performing arts, visual arts, and aesthetics. Vishwanath Garu also made various films concerning social issues.

Vishwanath’s Bollywood Career

He was very well known for his creativity, which helped him work in Bollywood. K. Vishwanath gave a few blockbusters in Bollywood, especially while working with the most famous actress of his time “Jaya Prada”. He directed these Bollywood movies-

Awards and Achievements

K. Vishwanath was very well known for his achievements in the film industry. His work was very appreciated and received awards for it as well. He is a recipient of five National Film Awards, seven state Nandi Awards, ten Filmfare Awards South, and a Filmfare Award in Hindi.

His achievements were illustrated by the Dada Saheb Phalke award (2016). For those who don’t know it is the highest award in Indian cinema. He also received Padma Shri (1992) award for his contribution to arts.
