Priced at Rs 54.95 lakh (ex-showroom), the single motor variant of the Volvo XC40 Recharge offers a more accessible option for those looking to enter the premium electric car segment. This launch comes shortly after the introduction of the BYD Seal electric sedan in the Indian market.
2. Volvo XC40 Key Features and Specifications
- The XC40 Recharge boasts a single electric motor and 2-wheel drive options.
- It comes with an impressive battery range of up to 475 kilometers (LTP) and 592 kilometers (ICAT test conditions) on a single charge.
- Equipped with a 69 kWh lithium-ion battery and a powerful electric motor generating 238 HP of power and 420 Newton meter torque.
- Accelerates from 0-100 kilometers per hour in just 7.3 seconds, with a top speed of 180 kilometers per hour.
3. Booking and Ownership Benefits
- The XC40 Recharge single motor variant can be booked online starting from March 7.
- Volvo Car India offers an 8-year battery warranty along with a 3-year hassle-free ownership plan, including RSA, service package, and warranty.

5. Tre Kronor Experience Program
- Volvo XC40 Recharge and C40 Recharge customers can also benefit from the Tre Kronor Experience Program, which will be extended to XC40 Recharge single motor customers.
