There was no technical glitch or unfavorable conditions due to weather. Real reason was the absence of cabin crew members. Everyone wondered where did they go? They all went for an interview citing poor health conditions.
Air India was organizing a recruitment drive on Saturday. As per the reports, the IndiGo staff took leave so that they can participate in the drive. Well, that’s a valid reason for getting a leave but not when everyone else is planning to do so.
Soon, passengers got angry and started posting about delay by IndiGo. One of the passengers tweet the flight time shown at website and airport. It was almost 30-40 minutes delayed.
Some flight were even delayed by 2 hours. DGCA had asked a clarification on the matter meanwhile netizens found it worth a meme.
