ICC has released the latest ODI rankings for women’s batsmen and the captain of the Indian Women Cricket Team hit the top spot eighth time in her career. Mithali Raj is now the World’s No.1 batsman in the female category.
She has gained this position after India won the finals in England Vs India ODI series. It took her 4 years to make a comeback to the top position in the ODI rankings since 2018. She became No.1 in 2005.

Second, in the table is Lizelle Lee from South Africa followed by Alyssa Healy of Australia and Tammy Beaumont of England. Another Indian cricketer to make up to the top 10 Women’s ODI Rankings is left-hand batter Smriti Mandhana.

Top 10 Female Bowlers In The List
In the bowling category, the 38-year old bowler Jhulan Goswami gained the 5th position whereas Poonam Yadav secured second from the bottom.
The Australian star Jess Jonassen became the World No. 1 bowler with 808 points in the list followed by Megan Schutt from the team. Marizanne Kapp and Shabnim Ismail are the only two from South Africa under the top 5 rankings in Women’s ODI.

Women’s T20 ICC Rankings
4 of the Indian women cricketers dominated in ODI rankings but only one made it to the All-rounders list of ICC. The 23-years old Deepti Sharma who is a left-handed batter got 5th position in the table with 304 points.
Sophie Devine from Australia became World No. 1 in T20I rankings followed by Natalie Sciver( England) and Kathryn Bryce from Scotland.

Among all the three lists of top women cricketers, Pakistani Spinner Nida Dar is the only one to get a place in the ICC rankings. She is the first from Pakistan to reach under the top 10 rankings of All-rounders across the globe.
