IPL 2023 is about to begin and it began with the most engaging controversy of Ravindra Jadeja with CSK. It’s finally confirmed that MS Dhoni saved Jadeja from quitting the team. The concern was raised 11 months ago when the team CSK decided to remove Jadeja from the team’s captaincy after which it was handed over to MS Dhoni.

The moment of heat got everyone’s nerves and Jadeja was under so much pressure that he was about to leave CSK. However, Dhoni saved Jadeja and revived him for team CSK otherwise, he might have left the team Chennai Super Kings for IPL 2023.

As per the latest reports from Cricbuzz, Dhoni saved Jadeja from quitting CSK. Jadeja left the hotel in Mumbai last season after a rumored misunderstanding with team management.

Jadeja had a long and frank chat with MS Dhoni who is the most important person in the franchise. He also had a one-on-one conversation with CEO Kasi Viswanathan after which Jadeja came to the team. Dhoni saved Jadeja and helped CSK to revive him by clearing the “air of misunderstanding”.

Here are a few factors that upset Jadeja and made him almost leave CSK: 

  • Jadeja was removed from captaincy during IPL 2022 and it also impacted his gameplay.
  • He played 10 games last season during which he scored 116 runs at an average of 19. He was only able to take 5 wickets at an economy rate of 7.52 last season.

Recently an official from CSK reported “Jaddu is fine now and he is well on the team as well. He is also looking forward to the season.” CSK will begin their IPL 2023 journey playing the beginner match of the IPL 2023, they will play a match against the defending champions Gujrat Titans scheduled at Ahmedabad on March 31.
