Will Jacks, England’s upcoming star, has been ruled out of the IPL 2023 recently, he sustained while fielding for England in Bangladesh due to a muscle injury. He has been replaced by New Zealand all-rounder Michael Bracewell.

The injury to Australian Jhye Richardson has given the Mumbai Indians another setback. Due to the hamstring injury that keeps recurring, Richardson also missed the tour to India.

Jonny Bairstow, an English batsman who had surgery on his ankle and leg in September 2022, will be fully recovered in a few weeks, but he is unable to fly to India for the IPL since the ECB has not given him the NOC necessary to compete in franchise-based competitions. Before the Ashes and the World Cup, the ECB does not want to take any chances with his fitness.

Mohsin Khan played a key role in the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) making the IPL 2022 playoffs. In IPL 2022, he had 14 wickets in 9 games. Nevertheless, an injury may stop the pacer from playing for the Lucknow-based team in IPL 2023.

Mukesh Choudhary, a left-arm pacer for CSK, is out with a back injury. He is currently working on his recovery at the NCA in Bangalore. The CEO of CSK is not too hopeful about Mukesh Choudhary’s chances of making the IPL 2023 roster after he took 16 wickets from 13 games last season.
