Yo-Yo Honey Singh is again in the limelight but this time not for any new song. His wife Shalini Singh put him into the spotlight for reasons that are hard to believe for his fans. Honey Singh’s wife filed an alleged domestic violence case against his husband late Tuesday night.

The complaint has been registered at Delhi Police Station under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act. A notice has been issued to Honey Singh regarding the same for which the court has given him 24 days.
According to reports, Shalini Singh has alleged that Honey Singh has abused her physically, verbally, and mentally several times. She also said that his behavior towards her was very arrogant and uncaring post their wedding.

The couple tied the knot in January 2011 but officially announced the marriage in 2014 on a TV reality show India’s Raw Star.

Honey Singh’s wife has put many more allegations on the singer and rapper in her plea disclosing incidents of his abusive behavior, alcoholism, and few incidents of torture.
For all the distress caused by him, Shalini has demanded monetary compensation of Rs 20 crore, return of the dowry, and stridhan. She also said in the plea that Honey Singh should pay her monthly house rent.

Furthermore, Shalini has asked for legal protection under the PWDV act from the court. Delhi’s Tis Hazari Court is looking into the entire matter and has passed interim orders. However, the singer has not given any statement so far.
