IMD Predicted Heavy To Light Rainfall In Several States, Issues Heavy Warning

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a bulletin on Tuesday stating that a low-pressure condition over the northwest and west-central Bay of Bengal will result in light to heavy rainfall in the coming days in several parts of the country, including the northwest, central, and south.

IMD has anticipated precipitation in a few states as a low-pressure condition is probably going to work over the northwest and west-coast Bay of Bengal.

It is likely that the low-pressure system will get stronger and move closer to the coasts of Odisha and Andhra Pradesh, bringing a lot of rain to northwest India.

Northwest India

An extension trough from southwest Uttar Pradesh to the Bay of Bengal will bring isolated heavy rain and thunderstorms to southern Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand until Saturday.

Central India
