The India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a bulletin on Tuesday stating that a low-pressure condition over the northwest and west-central Bay of Bengal will result in light to heavy rainfall in the coming days in several parts of the country, including the northwest, central, and south.
IMD has anticipated precipitation in a few states as a low-pressure condition is probably going to work over the northwest and west-coast Bay of Bengal.

It is likely that the low-pressure system will get stronger and move closer to the coasts of Odisha and Andhra Pradesh, bringing a lot of rain to northwest India.
Northwest India
An extension trough from southwest Uttar Pradesh to the Bay of Bengal will bring isolated heavy rain and thunderstorms to southern Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand until Saturday.
Central India
Light to directed genuinely boundless precipitation alongside rainstorms and lightning is anticipated over east Madhya Pradesh from today and will go on till Saturday; from September 13 to September 16 in Vidarbha; Chhattisgarh from September 12 to September 15; what’s more, west Madhya Pradesh during September 14 to 16.
East India
Over Odisha from September 12 to September 15, it is likely to rain lightly to moderately and in some places very heavily; India from September 13 to September 15; West Bengal in Gangetic Mode from September 12 to 14; and on September 15 and 16, over the islands of Andaman and Nicobar.
South India
IMD has also predicted heavy rainfall over Kerala, ghat areas of Tamil Nadu today; coastal Andhra Pradesh on September 12 and 13; Telangana on September 12 and 16.
Northeast India
Light to direct as well as secluded weighty precipitation is reasonable over Odisha during September 12 to 15; India from September 13 to September 15; West Bengal in Gangetic Mode from September 12 to 14; and on September 15 and 16, over the islands of Andaman and Nicobar.
West India
Konkan and Goa likely to receive isolated heavy rainfall along with thunderstorms and lightning on September 16. Ghat areas of Maharashtra and Marathwada may receive similar rainfall on September 15 and 16.
