Petrol purchase limit:

Two-wheeler: Up to Rs 200 per day.
Four wheeler: Up to Rs 500 per day.

Diesel Sales Limits:

Buses: Limited to 60 liters per day.
Mini buses: Limited to 40 liters per day.

Auto Rickshaw-Three Wheeler: Limited to 15 liters per day.

These limits have been set to ensure fair distribution and prevent hoarding of fuel during this period of shortage.

Government response:

Nirmal Adhikari, Additional Secretary, Food and Civil Supplies Department, said that due to the disruption in the movement of goods trains coming into the state, there has been a reduction in the supply of petrol and diesel and hence there is some restriction on the sale of fuel – petrol and diesel from May 1 till further orders. It has been decided to impose restrictions.
