Sushant Singh Rajput’s death had brought many popular Bollywood faces to the court regarding drug consumption. Rhea Chakraborty who was very close to Sushant was arrested for the same along with his brother Showik Chakraborty.
Rhea got the bail two months ago that in October but his brother was still in jail. But, today the Chakraborty family got a sense of relief from a special court in Mumbai. Here’s the whole story.

Wednesday, A special court in Mumbai has also granted bail to Showik after nearly three months of the arrest. He was arrested during the drug probe along with the house manager of Sushant on 4 September 2020.

It was a long interrogation after his family’s name revealed in the drugs case. NCB also conducted a raid at the Mumbai residence of both Showik and Miranda who was the house manager.
They were booked under sections 20(b), 27(a), 28, and 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act. These sections deal with the procurement of cannabis, financing illicit traffic, and punishment for committing criminal offenses and conspiracy.
