Design Sketch of Third Generation New Honda Amaze Released

Honda Cars India has released the design sketch of the third generation model of the popular sedan Amaze. The exterior design and interior design of the subcompact sedan has been revealed in the images shared on social media. The car will come with a new front look and advanced safety features. Prices for the new generation Honda Amaze are expected to start at RS 7.50 lakh (ex-showroom).

Honda Amaze: Look

• According to the sketch released by Honda, the look of the upcoming Honda Amaze is inspired by the new Honda City and the international model Honda Accord.
• The front of Amaze has sharp styling lines and hexagonal grill.
• There are sleek LED headlights with LED DRL on both sides, which look like the Honda Elevate SUV.
• At the same time, the fog lamps are at their place.
• It can be given multi-spoke alloy wheels, sleek LED taillight and high bumper like Honda City.

Honda Amaze: Features

• Honda has also released the sketch of the cabin of the new generation Amaze.
• It has a new dashboard layout and a new cabin theme, which is inspired by the city sedan and Elevate SUV.
• Inside the cabin, it has a 3-spoke steering wheel with black and beige color theme.
• On the dashboard, it has a free-standing touchscreen with pattern trim inserts.
• New features like wireless phone charger and single-pane sunroof can be found in Amaze.
• For safety, 6 airbags as standard, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Advanced Driving Assist System (ADAS) with a rear view camera can also be provided.

Honda Amaze: Performance

Mechanical changes are hardly visible in Honda Amaze. The car currently comes with a 1.2 liter i-VTEC naturally aspirated petrol engine, which generates 87.7hp power and 110Nm torque.

For transmission, this engine has the option of 5-speed manual or CVT gearbox. Amaze will come only with petrol engine, because the company has stopped making diesel engines. The company claims that the car gives a mileage of 18.6 kmpl.

New Amaze Will be Launched

The new generation Honda Amaze will be officially launched in India on December 4, 2024. No information has been received yet regarding the price of the new Amaze but we estimate that it can be launched within RS 7 lakh.

Before Honda Amaze, Maruti Suzuki has launched its new Dzire in India. The price of this car starts from RS 6.79 lakh. Talking about the engine, the new Maruti Dzire has a 1.2 liter petrol engine. This engine generates power of 82 PS and peak torque of 112 Nm. This engine is paired with 5-manual and 5-automatic transmission.
