Delhi Government came with a ridiculous strategy to keep a check on air pollution some time ago, and it seems it all set to make a comeback.
As per the reports, Arvind Kejariwal led AAP-Government has decided to reintroduce the Odd-Even scheme for this season in November.
Attention to details, under the scheme cars ending in odd and even numbers, will be allowed on roads alternatively. So basically, instead of introducing eco-friendly, less pollution-causing mechanics in cars, they have decided to not let them run on roads. Way to go people!
The scheme will be implemented from 4th-15th November in Delhi, according to a report by ANI.
Addressing a press conference, Delhi CM also urged Delhites not to burst crackers during Diwali and listed out a 7-point plan to tackle pollution in Delhi.
Of course, Twitter had a lot to say about this:
Still waiting for studies that prove this worked significantly last time

I don't think Arvind Kejriwal and Piyush Goyal get along very well. Kejriwal loves doing Odd-Even and Goyal hates maths.

Let’s hope the strategy turns out efficient this time around.
