2. Robert Most Haunted Dolls

If you are a huge fan of horror movies, then you may have watched the movie of Chucky the doll. It is a serial killer doll who brutally kills its owner. But do you know that the character of Chucky is inspired by a real-life doll named Robert?

Robert is one of the most haunted dolls in the world and its story began in Florida where the Otto family always abuse their maid. Out of revenge, the maid puts a voodoo curse on a doll and gifts it to Otto’s son Eugene.

Eugene loved this doll and named it Robert. But after some time, Eugene gets so possessed by this doll. He talks with it. He eats with it. He sleeps with it.

Eugene’s family members ignore this thing because they thought that Eugene loves this doll and that is why he is behaving like this.

But one day, when Eugene’s father heard this doll talking with his son, he got scared and took it away from Eugene. He locked Robert in the basement and kept the keys.

One month later, Eugene’s father heard Eugene screaming from his room and when he went there, all the things in his room were broken and Robert doll was standing right in front of them.

After seeing this horrific moment, the Otto family shifted their house and locked Robert in the same basement.

Years later, a new family shifted at Otto’s residence and unlocked Robert from the basement. But when they learn that the doll was haunted and dangerous, they gave it to the museum of Florida.

And you’ll be terrified to know that Robert the doll still exists in that museum.

It was a story back in 1972 when Kerry Walton returned to his Australian hometown for his grandmother’s funeral. But his life turned upside down when he decided to visit an abandoned building in order to face his childhood fear.

While exploring the building, Kerry found a scary doll with big eyes. As being passionate about antique things, he took that doll to his home.

When Kerry arrived home, his non-violent dog attacked the doll, just by seeing it. His family members also claim that it looks like the doll is always watching them.

Kerry also noticed many times that the doll changes its position. But one night when his children got scared by the action of the doll, he decided to give it to the museum.

Kerry also said in an interview that when he put the doll in the trunk of his car and drove to the museum, he felt someone was kicking the trunk and saying “Letta Me Out.”

According to paranormal experts, this doll is almost 200 years old and possesses human hair. They also named it Letta.

4. Okiku

Unlike any other haunted dolls we’ve discussed here, the Okiku doll is not a killer or terrifying. But her mysteriously growing hair makes her one of the most haunted dolls of all time.

The story of this doll starts in 1918 when a 17-year-old boy gifts it to his 2-year-old sister Okiku. It is said that Okiku loved this doll very much. She takes it everywhere and even sleeps with it. She also named the doll after her name Okiku.

Unfortunately in 1919, Okiku passed away due to a severe fever. Then Okiku’s family kept the doll as a memory of their girl. But one day, they noticed the hair of the doll is growing like a living human being.

And this sign confirms that the doll is possessed by the restless spirit of Okiku. Her family kept it for around 20 years, And in 1938, they entrusted it to Mannenji Temple.

Now, this temple is taking care of the Okiku doll. They also provide her haircut every month.

5. Pupa

Pupa is another cute doll who is haunted by a demonic spirit. But it is not like that from the start. This doll belonged to an Italian girl who kept the doll from 1920 to 2005.

According to that girl, Pupa was her best friend and she always talked with her. In fact, she also claimed that the doll saved her life once.

But after the death of that girl, her family member locked Pupa in a box of glass. And from then Pupa started showing her demonic version.

Her owner claimed that sometimes it feels like she is knocking on the glass of the box. She also changes her position regularly. And after the death of her real owner, there are also many changes in Pupa’s expressions.

One day when her owner was cleaning her box, he found some scratches looks like some words. When he tried to read them, they summed up as “Pupa Hate.”

After this incident, Pupa’s owner handed her over to a paranormal activist.
