Coronavirus India Update: Air India Flight Takes Off To Wuhan From Delhi, Expected To Be Back By Saturday

Coronavirus is spreading all across the world especially in China. Indians who are stuck in China are being airlifted to India after examining for the presence of coronavirus in their body.

Wuhan is identified as the epicentre of this deadly disease. Hospitals are keeping all types of precaution to not let the virus spread.

In Kerela, India a male student has been confirmed to have been diagnosed with Coronavirus. The student was studying in Wuhan where he acquired the disease.

Today,31 January flight took off from Delhi to Wuhan to evacuate people from the epicentre, Wuhan. The flight AI Boeing 747 took off at 1:18 PM and is expected to reach Wuhan in less than  6 hours.

The flight will get back all the Indians from Wuhan, on Saturday by 2 PM. 

The jumbo jet named ‘Ajanta’ (VT-ESP) took off from Mumbai as AI 1348 to Delhi. A team of five doctors from Delhi, 4 pilots, 15 cabin crew, 2 security men, one dispatch official, 5 commercial staff and 3 enginers will be going on this evacuation mission.

Captain Amitabh Singh will be on board to supervise the special flight.
Keeping in mind the cautious healthy concerns, the doctors will wear special suits before landing to Wuhan.
These kinds of evacuation programmes have already been done to Yemen, Kuwait, Iraq, Libya and Nepal.
