Finance Minister, Nirmala Sitharaman has presented her second Union Budget today (1 Feb 2020). As we all know the economy of India has been facing a major downfall compared to earlier decades.

Nirmala Sitharaman has made necessary changes in the Budget 2020 that will help in boosting the economy.

She has even given a lot of emphasis on the improvement of medical conditions for the poor.

Health

Nirmala also said that an amount of 3.6 lakh has been approved for the Jal Jeevan Mission. This mission will cover the issues related to local water resources, renewal of old water resources, desalination and rainwater harvesting by FY 21.

Jan Aushadhi Kendras will be expanded to all districts in order to make available medicine at affordable rates.

Education

Abroad demands a huge number of doctors, nurses and paramedical staff. However, the skills do not match and needs improvement. Therefore an amount of 99,300 crores is proposed for the allocation of education.

Degrees can be taken up online from Top 10 NIRF institutes. IND-SAT exam will be held in India for Asian- African students to get scholarships to study in India.

Police academies and forensic institutes will be set up.

Entrepreneurship

Entrepreneurship has been the strength of India. People have a lot of potentials that can take them to greater heights. Union Budget 2020 will create more opportunities for entrepreneurs. This will give them funding and portal assistance.
