Bollywood veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan suffered severe injuries while working on his upcoming film Project K. The actor confirmed the news via his blog where he later assured his loving fans that he is currently under bed rest after suffering broken rib cartilage and a muscle tear near it. Amitabh Bachchan shared a blog revealing his injury, he further explained the whole incident.
Amitabh Bachchan Suffered Injuries!!
Amitabh Bachchan shared a blog explaining how he got injured during the shoot of Project K. He wrote “I got injured during an action shot for my action film Project K“. The actor explained that he got his rib cartilage broken and suffered a muscle tear due to it as well.
He informed via his blog that he was soon delivered to AIG Hospital, Hyderabad for medical assistance. Doctors have reported Big B suffered moderately fatal injuries during an action scene and they have recommended proper rest.
Amitabh Bachchan said that the injury is causing mild to severe pain but he will soon recover with the help of medication. He explained that he is suffering pain while breathing and slight movement. He further assured his fans that it might take a few weeks but he will get better during the course of a period.
No Work Until Getting Fit
Amitabh Bachchan said that he has taken rest from work and he won’t work until he gets better. All the plans are postponed until the healing process continues. He will not move or make any risky attempt that could make his injuries even more severe.
The actor is now 80 years old and any mild injury would seem to be very effective in breaking him down. It seems that the actor very well knows the consequences of the injury and so he has decided to take proper rest until he gets fully recovered.
Big B Says “No Visitors”
Amitabh Bachchan first expressed grief for not being able to meet his fans who came to see him as his well-wishers. However, the veteran actor informed his fans via his blog that he won’t be able to move to see his fans so it is better to stop visiting his house “Jalsa” for a while. He also said that he will regularly update his fans on his well-being.
