AAP leader Sanjay Singh accuses BJP of conspiracy in liquor scam

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Rajya Sabha MP from Delhi, Sanjay Singh has recently made explosive claims regarding the Delhi Excise Policy scam. He accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of running a large-scale liquor scam and implicating Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in a conspiracy.

Sanjay Singh disclosed the allegations

During a press conference, Sanjay Singh alleged that the BJP leader was deeply involved in the liquor scam and implicated Kejriwal through several manipulated statements. He claimed that the key witnesses came under pressure and wrongly convicted Kejriwal, which led to his arrest.

Role of Magunta Reddy and Sharat Reddy

Singh specifically named Magunta Reddy and his son Raghava Magunta, prominent BJP personalities, in the scam. He insisted that there was no mention of Kejriwal in Magunta Reddy’s initial statements until he was forced to implicate him. Similarly, Sharat Reddy initially denied having any knowledge about Kejriwal, but later accused him under pressure.

BJP’s involvement and allegations of bribery

According to Singh, BJP had received a huge bribe of Rs 55 crore from Sharat Reddy, who played a key role in the scam. He exposed the transactions of money through electoral bonds, implicating BJP in corruption. Singh accused the BJP of orchestrating Kejriwal’s arrest to divert attention from its wrongdoings.

political influence

Sanjay Singh’s allegations have created political tension, raising concerns about the erosion of democratic values. His claims underline the need for transparency and accountability in governance. Singh’s release from Tihar Jail and his subsequent statements indicate new vigor in AAP‘s fight against corruption.

call to action

As allegations continue to emerge, it has become necessary for the authorities to thoroughly investigate the Delhi Excise Policy scam. Citizens must remain vigilant and demand accountability from elected representatives. Upholding the principles of democracy is of paramount importance to protect the integrity of the nation.
