Why Did Bajrang Dal Inked Prakash Jha?
Bajrang Dal group is angry with the series title “Ashram” and the scenes plotted in the series. They found it an act to defame Hindu and their religion. The leader of the right-wing group said we are also looking for Bobby Deol. He should take some lessons from his elder brother Sunny who always makes patriotic movies.
Sushil Sudele, leader of Bajrang Dal Bhopal, said that it’s only a warning and if the series title is not changed then it should not be filmed in the city. He also said that the government gave permission for shooting and not to defame Hindus.
This is not the first time when director Jha and the series cast faced trouble due to Ashram’s story. Earlier in 2020, a Jodhpur court and Rajasthan police had also issued a notice against the makers for hurting religious sentiments and promoting discrimination against minorities.
