Lockdown was the perfect time to learn something new and Lakshmi utilized it well. She learned cooking traditional South-Indian dishes from her mother. And as soon as the restrictions went off, little Lakshmi tried her hands to make world record.
She now holds the UNICO Book of World Records for cooking more dishes in less hour.

Lakshmi’s Unique World Record
Yesterday, 15th December, Lakshmi cooked 46 different dishes in the record breaking time of 58 minutes. This is a milestone achievement for Lakshmi and a new UNICO records.
How Did It Started?
N Kalaimagal, Lakshmi’s mother in an interview with ANI told that Lakshmi gained interest in cooking during the lockdown. She learned all the traditional recipes of Tamil Nadu like uttapam, rasam, idli, sambhar, vada, and more.
Her interest in cooking developed faster as soon as she tried her hand on cooking. Lakshmi’s mother discussed the same with her husband who advice Lakshmi to go for world record.
The girl went viral on social media sites where users appreciated her skills and called her India’s little masterchef.
Lakshmi Surpasses Saanvi
It was not the first time when someone has cooked maximum number of recipes in less time. Prior to Lakshmi, a 10-year old girl from Kerala made record of cooking 33 dishes in time less than 60 minutes.
Saanvi M Prajit hold this record and she also holds the India Book of Records, and Asia Book of Records. She also give cooking lessons on YouTube channel Saanvi Cloud9. This litter master chef has huge fan following since then.
