Vivo X200T Launch Soon: Expected Price, Specs, Features & Camera Details Revealed

Vivo is continuously expanding its X200 series and is now preparing to launch a new model, the Vivo X200T. This phone is said to be similar to the Vivo X200 FE launched this year. This means that the design and specifications will largely resemble the X200 FE, with only a few minor changes. Notably, the X200T is being developed specifically for the online market, allowing it to be sold as a web-exclusive phone.

The Vivo X200T could be an online-focused device

Tipster on X that Vivo is preparing to launch the Vivo X200T soon, while the Vivo X300 FE could launch later. Citing unnamed sources, the tipster said in a second X post that the X200T will be largely similar to the already launched Vivo X200 FE, with only a few minor differences. Furthermore, the Vivo X200T is said to be an online-focused model.

Two new models are coming—the X200T and X300 FE

According to popular tipster Abhishek Yadav, Vivo is not discontinuing the X200 series just yet. The company is planning to launch two new models—the Vivo X200T and the Vivo X300 FE. The X200T is expected to launch soon and its model number is reported to be V2561. According to leaks, its hardware will be largely similar to the X200 FE, making it a strong option in the mid-range budget.

Online-First Strategy: Aggressive Pricing Expected

The X200T will be the seventh phone in the X200 series and is being designed specifically for sale on e-commerce platforms. This means the company can offer aggressive pricing, bank offers, and exclusive online bundles. The advantage of this strategy is that Vivo will be able to offer more features at a lower price, making this phone quite popular in the mid-range market.

X200 FE-Like Display and Performance

If the leaks are true, the X200T will feature the same 6.31-inch 1.5K AMOLED display as the X200 FE, with a 120Hz refresh rate. Screen color, brightness, and smoothness will be key features of this phone. In terms of performance, the phone is expected to feature a MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ chipset, paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. This combination is said to be powerful for multitasking, gaming, and streaming.

The camera setup will remain unchanged

The Vivo X200 FE's camera system was already quite powerful, and the X200T is expected to feature the same setup. It includes a Zeiss-tuned triple camera system: a 50MP main camera, an 8MP secondary lens, and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with optical zoom. The front is expected to feature a 50MP selfie camera, which is said to be excellent for high-definition video and sharp photos.

Battery and charging features are similar to the FE

Speaking of battery, the Vivo X200T is expected to feature a 6,500mAh battery and 90W wired fast charging. This setup can deliver both a full-day backup and very fast charging. Vivo's mid-premium phones are consistently known for this strong battery performance. Furthermore, the phone is expected to have IP68 and IP69 ratings, which will provide good protection against water and dust.

Pricing may be lower than the X200 FE

When the Vivo X200 FE launched in July, it was priced in India at ₹54,999 (12GB/256GB). If the X200T is launched as an online-focused model, its price is likely to be even lower. This could make it the cheapest phone in the X200 series.
