Vikram lander was supposed to land on the south pole of the moon as it has been unexplored yet. On 7th September at 1:55 ISRO lost contact with it when it was just 2.1 km away from landing the lunar surface.

Since then the prayers and hard work did not stop. The good news came today that Vikaram lander has been located on the lunar surface.

It now appears that the circling orbit has clicked a thermal image of the lander. We are feeling hopeful again.
