Anand Singh Bisht, father of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, died on Monday. He was getting treatment at AIIMS and put on a ventilator because of critical condition. On March 15, he was admitted to AIIMS hospital. He was suffering from liver and kidney problems and was being treated under the doctors of gastrology department.

On Sunday, he was put on a ventilator when his health condition worsened. Before being shifted to the ICU ward, he had also gone for dialysis on Sunday.

A few months before, Anand Singh Bisht was also admitted in Dehradun’s hospital after suffering from severe dehydration. According to reports, Yogi Adityanath’s father was a forest ranger.
