TVS Motor has introduced the 2025 edition of its neo-retro motorcycle Ronin at its annual biking event Motosol 4.0. The updated bike now has a dual-channel anti-lock braking system for safety and has also made some cosmetic changes.
Customers can now buy the motorcycle in two new colour options – Glacier Silver and Charcoal Amber and these will replace the existing Delta Blue and Stargaze Black colour options. The company will launch the updated bike in January 2025.
TVS Ronin: Design
The new neo-retro bike gets new updates only in the mid variant Ronin DS, the base (SS) and top (TD) variants remain the same as before. The Glacial Silver colour gets a dual-tone dark grey and silver paint scheme, which is separated by yellow stripes and graphics on the fuel tank. On the other hand, the Ronin Charcoal Ember features a dual-tone light grey and dark blue colour scheme with red graphics all around the fuel tank.
The bike also features a black-out fly screen above the LED headlight, which enhances the visual appeal and deflects headwinds. Apart from this, the updated Ronin also features a long smoked visor, a USB charging port, a throttle body cover and fully black engine case, fenders and exhaust.
TVS Ronin: Performance
There is no mechanical change in the bike, for performance it has a 225.9cc air and oil-cooled single-cylinder engine, which generates 20.1hp of power and 19.93Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox with slip and assist clutch. The bike also gets adjustable levers and two ABS modes – Urban and Rain.
TVS Ronin: Features
The bike gets a single-pod LCD instrument cluster with LED headlights, USB charger and Bluetooth connectivity. This includes call/SMS alerts, voice assistance, phone battery level and signal strength, and turn-by-turn navigation. The bike gets an all-LED lighting setup as standard. Apart from this, the bike includes a silent starter, side-stand engine cut-off feature and three-step adjustable brake/clutch lever. Ronin also has TVS Glide-Through-Traffic, which helps the bike to move in traffic using only the clutch.
