Truck Hit MP’s Water Resources Minister Tulsiram Silawat’s Car, FIR Lodged

Water Resources Minister Tulsiram Silawat met an accident on Tuesday night in Devas. The incident happened during his tour to Devas. A speeding truck hit the car after which he was pulled out of the vehicle by the security personnel.

As per the Traffic Police, the accident happened at Shipra and Rasulpur intersection on Tuesday. The truck was stopped immediately and confiscated by the police for investigation.

It is said that the family members of the Minister were also in the vehicle although there has been no official confirmation from the police.

Tulsiram Silawat is a Water Resource Minister of MP. He is also a member of the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly.

Silawat was earlier a member of the Congress party and Public Health and Family Welfare Minister in Kamalnath's cabinet.

During the political crisis in MP, he switched to BJP along with other MLAs and Jyotiraditya Scindia. He joined BJP on 21 March 2020.
