The Infinix Note Edge 5G has officially launched in India, and honestly, it feels like Infinix is done playing safe in the mid-range segment. Starting at Rs 21,999, this phone brings a curved AMOLED display, a gigantic 6500mAh battery, Android 16 out of the box, and JBL-tuned speakers, all packed inside a surprisingly slim 7.2mm body.

At a time when brands are recycling specs, Infinix seems to be pushing real upgrades where it matters most: battery, display, and long-term software support.

Let’s break it down.

Infinix Note Edge 5G Price in India

The Infinix Note Edge 5G starts at Rs 21,999 and is available in multiple color options including:

  • Lunar Titanium
  • Stellar Blue
  • Silk Green
  • Shadow Black
  • Orange

It was first introduced globally in January and has now made its India debut.

For the price, it is clearly targeting the competitive mid-range 5G market, and it’s not coming empty-handed.

Infinix Note Edge 5G Display

The Infinix Note Edge 5G features a 6.78-inch 1.5K 3D curved AMOLED display with:

  • 120Hz refresh rate
  • 1208 × 2644 resolution
  • Up to 4500 nits peak brightness
  • 2160Hz PWM dimming
  • Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection

Peak brightness of 4500 nits is a bold claim. Even in real-world tests, it has measured over 1300 nits, which is impressive for outdoor visibility.

The symmetrical ultra-narrow bezels (1.87mm) give it a premium look. In this price segment, curved AMOLED panels are still rare, and this one genuinely elevates the design.

Infinix Note Edge 5G

Infinix Note Edge 5G Performance

Under the hood, the Infinix Note Edge 5G runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 (6nm) chipset paired with:

  • 8GB RAM
  • 128GB / 256GB UFS 2.2 storage
  • Mali-G610 GPU

Infinix claims an AnTuTu score of over 7,50,000. Internal tests show around 6.3 lakh+, which is still solid for daily use and gaming.

Gaming features include the following:

  • 90FPS support
  • Performance Mode
  • Magic Voice Changer
  • Network Enhancement
  • Bypass Charging (reduces heat during gaming)

For a mid-range phone, these additions actually feel practical instead of gimmicky.

Infinix Note Edge 5G

Infinix Note Edge 5G Battery

This is where the Infinix Note Edge 5G truly separates itself.

  • 6500mAh battery
  • 45W fast charging
  • 50% charge in 27 minutes
  • 10W reverse wired charging

Despite the huge battery, the phone is just 7.2mm thick and weighs around 185–190g.

Infinix says the battery retains over 80% health after 2,000 charge cycles, roughly six years of usage. If this holds true in real-world conditions, that’s massive for long-term users.

Infinix Note Edge 5G Camera and Audio

The phone features:

  • 50MP primary rear camera (1/2-inch sensor)
  • 13MP front camera
  • 2K video recording (30fps)
  • HDR and panorama modes

It also introduces “Live Photo” and AI editing tools.

Audio is handled by dual stereo speakers tuned by JBL, with Hi-Res Audio support. That’s a big plus for content lovers.

Infinix Note Edge 5G Software

The Infinix Note Edge 5G is the company’s first phone to ship with Android 16-based XOS 16.

Software commitments include 3 major Android upgrades and 5 years of security updates.

It also includes the FOLAX AI assistant, screen translation, summarization tools, and AI gaming optimization.

In this segment, promising long-term updates is not common, and this deserves appreciation.

Is Infinix Note Edge 5G Worth It?

The Infinix Note Edge 5G feels like a serious attempt to disrupt the mid-range market.

For Rs 21,999, you get:

  • Curved 120Hz AMOLED
  • Massive 6500mAh battery
  • Dimensity 7100
  • Android 16
  • IP65 rating
  • JBL stereo speakers

Personally, I think the battery + display combo alone makes this phone extremely compelling. If performance optimization and camera tuning are consistent, this could easily become one of the most talked-about mid-range launches of 2026.

In a market full of repetitive upgrades, the Infinix Note Edge 5G at least tries to offer something bold. And that, right now, is refreshing.
