JBL has launched the JBL Tour Pro 3, the latest version of their truly wireless stereo (TWS) earphones, replacing the JBL Tour Pro 2. Released in select markets on Wednesday, these earphones come with several exciting upgrades aimed at improving your listening experience.
One of the biggest improvements is the new, larger touchscreen on the smart charging case. The 1.57-inch display gives you more controls and information like song titles and playback options at your fingertips. Also, the smart case can connect to entertainment systems via an AUX or USB Type-C port, offering a more stable connection with lower latency than standard Bluetooth.

- The JBL Tour Pro 3 has a half-in-ear design and features a hybrid dual-driver system with 11mm dynamic drivers with a 2.8mm balanced armature.
- The earphones feature six microphones along with a hydrodynamic windproof design.
- The company is also using the JBL Crystal AI call algorithm, which is said to improve voice clarity.
- For personalisation, the company has added Personi-Fi 3.0 hearing test, which uses proprietary algorithms to create a customised sound profile.
- They also come with five different sizes of silicone ear tips along with a pair of foam ear tips.
- The JBL Tour Pro 3 also feature True ANC 2.0, which is claimed to measure environmental sounds over 50,000 times per second and adapts accordingly.
- Talking about the smart charging case, it features a 1.57-inch display, which is larger than the older generation and can fit more information like song names in the media playing interface.
- JBL said that the case also acts as a transmitter and can be connected to an entertainment system from any AUX or USB Type-C source.
- For connectivity, the JBL Tour Pro 3 supports Bluetooth 5.3 and OraCast wireless audio sharing.
- They also support the LDAC audio codec for high-resolution music. Notably, LDAC will be available on all Android smartphones running Android 8.0 or later, however, it is not available on iOS.
The battery life is impressive too
The company claims up to 11 hours of play time with ANC off, up to 8 hours with ANC on, and up to 7 hours with True Adaptive ANC support. The Reserve case also offers an additional 32 hours of battery life.
Price and colour options
The JBL Tour Pro 3 is available in Black and Colour variants at a price of $299.99 (roughly Rs. 25,000).
