Tech giant Google is set to launch its new and affordable smartphone, the Google Pixel 10a, in India on February 18th. Design
In terms of design, the Pixel 10a is expected to be similar to its predecessor. It will feature Google's signature camera bar design, which has become a hallmark of the Pixel series.
The phone is expected to have a premium finish and an IP68 rating, making it dust and water resistant. The front will have thin bezels and a punch-hole cutout in the top center for the selfie camera. Corning Gorilla Glass 7i is expected to protect the display, providing improved durability and scratch resistance.
Display
The Google Pixel 10a is expected to feature a 6.3-inch OLED display. It will support a 120Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 2424 x 1080 pixels. The 120Hz refresh rate will make scrolling and gaming smoother. The OLED panel will have richer colors and deeper blacks, which could improve the video viewing experience.
Processor and Performance
This smartphone will feature Google's latest Tensor G4 chipset. This processor is specifically designed for AI and machine learning tasks.
The Tensor G4 will also feature the Titan M2 security chip, which will further strengthen the phone's security. This will provide users with better data protection and a secure experience. This chipset will help handle multitasking, gaming, and AI features with ease.

Software
The Google Pixel 10a could be one of the first smartphones to launch with Android 16. The most notable feature is that the company is expected to promise 7 years of software and security updates for this phone. Such a long update policy is rare in the mid-range segment.
This means users will be able to take advantage of the latest features and security patches for a longer period of time.
Camera
For photography, the Pixel 10a will feature a dual rear camera setup. It could feature a 48-megapixel primary camera with dual-pixel autofocus and optical image stabilization (OIS). OIS could help make low-light photography and video recording more stable and clear.
In addition, a 13-megapixel ultrawide lens will be available, offering a 120-degree view. This will make taking group photos and landscape shots easier. A 13-megapixel front camera is expected for selfies and video calling.
Battery and Charging
The Google Pixel 10a is expected to feature a large 5100 mAh battery. This could be the largest battery in the Pixel "a" series yet. For charging, it will support 45W fast wired charging, which will ensure the phone charges quickly. Wireless charging is also expected, which would be a major feature in this price range.
