Swami Vivekananda Jayanti 2026: Youth Day Celebrated with Mass Surya Namaskar in Bhopal

Swami Vivekananda's 163rd birth anniversary was celebrated as Youth Day on Monday, January 12, 2026. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav delivered a message to the people of the state at a state-level mass Surya Namaskar (sun salutation) at the Subhash Excellence School in Bhopal. The program began with the national anthem. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav performed Surya Namaskar and Pranayam with the students. Fifty million students from across the state performed Surya Namaskar and Yoga Pranayam. The program concluded with the national anthem. Ministers Rakesh Singh, Krishna Gaur, Mayor Malti Rai, Municipal Corporation Chairman Kishan Suryavanshi, and other senior officials were present at the state-level program.
