Old is Gold! Milind Soman's mother has proved this phrase by trekking the 11,929 ft high Sandakphu of Darjeeling. She is the first oldest woman to do so. At the age of 81, where people can't even lift a weight or walk to the nearby store, Usha Soman has created a history by trekking on one of the toughest mountains of India.

Milind shared the pic of the trio ( Milind, Ankita, and Usha) on Instagram to announce his mother's incredible achievement. Here's the pic:

Planks Or Push-ups, Usha Can Do It All

Push-ups seem to be her favorite and that's how she celebrated her 81st birthday on 3rd July 2020. Apart from skipping and push-ups, the plank is also a piece of cake for her and she can hold the position for 80 seconds. That's too long for someone of her age.

And if this doesn't amaze you then check the viral video of Milind's mother running barefoot and that to be in saree. The video is from the 2016 marathon "Great India run" in which both son and mother took part.

Another example is one of the events by Mumbai Oxfam Trailwalker where she completed a 100km journey within 48 hours.

It won't be wrong to say that Usha is more popular than Milind. Every time she makes a guest appearance on social media, she steals the show and fans can't stop praising her strength and stamina.

Truly she is an inspiration for not only the older adults but also for youngsters.
