J Hurtado, a film critic who has been involved in the theatrical release of RRR in North America, took to Twitter to share the news that the film’s director, SS Rajamouli, would be appearing on Late Night with Seth Meyers. As Hurtado put it, “Can’t make it to the @ChineseTheatres screening of #RRRMovie tomorrow? Don’t worry, #SSRajamouli will be guesting on @LateNightSeth so you can still get your SSR fix! Someone record it for us!” The announcement was met with enthusiasm from an Indian fan, who commented, “Unbelievable! (red heart emoji) The whole US will know about RRR.”

On Monday, Rajamouli, Ram Charan and Jr NTR will be attending a sold-out screening of their movie at the renowned Chinese Theatres, one of the biggest IMAX theatres in the world. The following day, they will be at the Beverly Hilton hotel in Los Angeles, where the 80th edition of the Golden Globes is taking place. The Telugu movie has been nominated in two categories – Best Foreign Film and Best Original Song for its hit track Naatu Naatu.

Rajamouli participated in a symposium for the Non-English language movie nominees ahead of the Golden Globes on Tuesday, accompanied by Decision To Leave director Park Chan-wook. Edward Berger, Lukas Dhont, and Santiago Mitre, the other category nominees, participated remotely. At the event, he discussed his motivation behind making a two-hero film in RRR.
