Vijay Deverakonda has kept his promise as ‘Deverasanta’ by sending 100 people on a trip to Manali that will be fully covered. The actor shared a video of himself on Instagram, dressed in a white vest, blue shirt, shorts and a hat, while standing in a green landscape. He was seen drinking a beverage in the clip.

“In the video, Vijay declared a Happy New Year to his beloved fans, and then announced the DevaraSanta update. He had promised to send 100 of his fans on a fully funded vacation, and after asking them where they wanted to go, they chose the mountains. Therefore, all 100 of them will be sent on a five-day trip to Manali, where they will be able to experience snow-capped mountains, temples, monasteries, and other activities.”

Last year, Vijay surprised his fans with a special gesture called DeveraSanta. On Twitter, he held a poll asking his fans to help him decide which destination to travel to and offer to them. Options included: Mountains of India, Beaches of India, Cultural trip of India and deserts in India.

Despite his last movie Liger failing to meet commercial expectations, with a box office gross of less than ₹100 crore, Vijay Deverakonda is set to make his return to Bollywood with Kushi. Scheduled for release in 2023, the romantic drama will feature Samantha Ruth Prabhu alongside Vijay. Additionally, according to ANI, the actor is all set to collaborate with Gowtam Tinnanuri on an upcoming project, although no official announcement has been made yet.
