Snapchat has launched its own chatbot called "My AI" which uses the latest version of OpenAI's generative text tool, ChatGPT. Only subscribers of Snapchat+ can use the chatbot, and they pay $3.99 per month to gain access to exclusive and experimental features.
The chatbot can recommend gift ideas, plan trips, suggest recipes, and even write haikus. However, Snapchat has cautioned that the chatbot can be tricked into saying almost anything and is prone to hallucination.
