His most recent movie Mission Majnu with Rashmika Mandanna has been garnering praises for his performance, but it has also been compared to Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal starrer Raazi. On being asked about this comparison, Sidharth gave his response in a recent interview.

Sidharth Malhotra’s opinion about Mission Majnu’s comparison to Raazi
In an interview with Film Companion, Sidharth Malhotra commented on the comparison between his latest film Mission Majnu to Alia Bhatt’s Raazi. He called the latter “a good film” and that the comparison between the two does not worry him in the slightest.
The actor went on to say, “It is never a bad thing if people are trying to find a reference point for a film. It (Raazi) is a good film. It doesn’t feel like it (the comparison) is such an alarming thing. Yes, the elements on the outer periphery seeing the trailer might look similar.”
Kiara Advani’s response to the teaser of Mission Majnu
After recently releasing the teaser, Sidharth’s rumoured girlfriend Kiara Advani had a lot of hearts for him. She posted on her Instagram Story, expressing her excitement saying “OUTSTANDING. Looking forward” alongside fire emojis. Sidharth replied with “Thanks Ki” and a red heart emoji.

This sparked the rumours of them taking their relationship to the next level and getting married soon. On Saturday, they were seen outside Manish Malhotra’s residence, further adding credence to these reports; however, neither of them have officially declared or denied the news.

Reports suggest that the alleged couple is planning to get married in February. It is purported that the nuptials will take place on the 6th and the pre-wedding functions such as haldi, mehendi, and sangeet will occur on the 4th and 5th.
It is supposed that the wedding will be held at the Jaisalmer Palace Hotel with heightened security. The news of their marriage began to circulate after they were seen leaving Manish Malhotra’s residence together.
Sidharth was recently featured in Mission Majnu, a Netflix original released on the 20th of January. The trailer for the movie created a major buzz among viewers. He also stars alongside Disha Patani and Raashii Khanna in the upcoming movie Yodha.
He is now making his debut in the digital space with Rohit Shetty’s police drama series Indian Police Force. He is currently occupied with the shooting of this series.
