Section 144 Imposed: Rafale Jets To Reach Ambala Today, See How The New Home Is Prepping Up

The first batch of Rafale fighter jets that took off from France will be reaching Ambala today. The five Rafale jets flew from France on Monday and took a halt in UAE. Indian Air Force Chief Air Marshal RKS Bhadauria will be receiving the jets at the airbase.

The jets will reach Amabal around 2 PM today. A strict security has been deployed near the area and Section 144 has been imposed near villages adjoining the Ambala airbase, including Dhulkot, Baldev Nagar, Garnala and Panjkhora.

Under this photography, videography and gathering of four or more people are strictly restricted. People have been asked not to fly any private drones for video recording or photographs.

BJP’s Ambala City MLA Aseem Goyal urged to people to light candles in their homes between 7-7:30 pm on Wednesday to welcome the Rafale jets.

Nearly four years ago, India signed an inter-governmental agreement with France for 36 Rafale jets under a Rs 59,000-crore deal to boost the IAF’s combat capabilities.
Can’t wait to welcome the Rafale jets touch down the Indian land.
