Saansad Khel Mahakumbh starts today in Basti, UP; this will be the second phase of the campaign. It is a celebration of sports and sportsmanship. PM Modi virtually inaugurated the event on Wednesday at around 1pm.
The first phase of the Saandad Khel Mahakumbh has already been organized on December 10 to 16, 2022. The second phase of the event is set to be held on January 18, 2023.
The event also hosts a variety of games that include indoor games and outdoor games as well. The list of games include:

- Kabaddi,
- kho kho,
- Basketball,
- Football,
- Hockey,
- Volleyball,
- Handball,
- Chess,
- Carrom,
- Badminton,
- Table tennis etc.
