Today is the most honourable day for India because an Indian daughter holds the title of Mrs World for the second time in history.
Recently, on 18th December, Sargam Koushal, a resident of Mumbai made us (Indians) proud by winning the Mrs World 2022 contest.
American Shaylin Ford, who was Mrs World in 2021, was crowned India’s Sargam Koushal. The event took place in Las Vegas and around 63 countries participated in it. Here’s the clip:

For your information, Mrs Polynesia has been declared the first runner-up and Mrs Canada as the ‘second runner-up’.
Aditi Govitrikar was the last Mrs World from India who won the competition in 2001. Now, Sargun returned to the title after 21 years.

Who is Sargam Koushal?
Sargam Koushal was born in Jammu on 17th December 1990. Her parents’ name is GS Kaushal and Reema Kaushal. Apart from them, she also has a younger brother Manthan Kaushal.

In 2015, Sargam fell in love and get into a relationship with Adi Koushal, a navy officer. The duo dated for around two & a half years and got married in 2018.
Talking of her career, you’ll be surprised to know that recently crowned Mrs World used to be a teacher once. But after some time, she switched her career to modelling.
