The trailer shows the troubled and confused Nuclear physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer whose flaws are ignored by his brilliance.
The main title character is played by Cillian Murphy. It shows the tense and embroiling situations of scientist Oppenheimer, who is leading the ‘Manhattan Project’, a secret project for the creation of the world’s first nuclear bomb.
He reluctantly agrees to lead the creation of the atom bomb to end the second world war, despite knowing how much danger it imposes on the future of the world.
‘We imagine a future and our imagining horrify us’ that line itself depicts the tension and vulnerability of Oppenheimer.
The trailer further reveals the tension built up among the team of scientists, when they first test the nuclear bomb in the desert.
And in one scene when countdown to detonate the bomb reach to zero, everyone thought that no one in the team survive the test.
Haunting music also plays its part when the time of detonation comes near and makes the trailer captivating and interesting.

Christopher Nolan Didn’t Use CGI for Nuclear Detonation Scene in Oppenheimer
Recently Christopher Nolan revealed in one of the interviews that the most thrilling scene of the movie is the atomic bomb detonation and he didn’t use CGI for that scene.
In an interview with Total Film Magazine director said, “Andrew Jackson — my visual effects supervisor, I got him on board early on — was looking at how we could do a lot of the visual elements of the film practically, from representing quantum dynamics and quantum physics to the Trinity test itself, to recreating, with my team, Los Alamos up on a mesa in New Mexico in extraordinary weather, a lot of which was needed for the film, in terms of the very harsh conditions out there — there were huge practical challenges.”
