Samsung Galaxy S26 Series: Thinnest & Lightest Flagship Models Leak

Samsung will soon be launching its flagship Galaxy S26 series. A significant amount of information has already emerged about the upcoming Galaxy S26 series. Recent reports indicate that Samsung's upcoming flagship smartphones will feature the thinnest and lightest designs. Media reports claim that each model in the Galaxy S26 series will be thinner and lighter than the iPhone 17 models.

Samsung Galaxy S26 Series Weight Leaks Reported

A tipster has shared information about the weight of the upcoming smartphones on the social media platform X. He claims that the Galaxy S26 smartphone will weigh 164 grams, the Galaxy S26+ will weigh 191 grams, and the Galaxy S26 Ultra will weigh 214 grams. These are significantly lighter than Samsung's Galaxy S25 series, launched last year. However, the S26+ has only gained 1 gram.

Thinnest and Lightest Design Compared to iPhone 17

Ice Universe's claims about Samsung products have always been accurate. They say that all three smartphones in the Galaxy S26 series will be lighter and thinner than the Apple iPhone 17 series. Several reports have previously surfaced regarding the weight of Samsung's upcoming Galaxy S26 Ultra.

At the time, it was claimed that this Samsung flagship smartphone would weigh 217 grams. Now, a new report suggests a slight reduction in weight to 214 grams. This has not been confirmed at this time. Samsung has not provided any information about the upcoming smartphone series.

Expectations for Galaxy S26 Series

Samsung's upcoming flagship smartphones may be lighter in weight and thickness, but the price will not be the same. Regarding the Samsung Galaxy S26 series, it is being reported that the company may increase wireless and wired charging speeds. Furthermore, hardware upgrades to the S26 lineup seem unlikely.

Regarding the battery, the base variant of the Galaxy S26 may see a slight increase. Furthermore, the company may offer 4,900mAh and 5,000mAh batteries in the Plus and Ultra models, similar to last year. If this happens, the iPhone 17 Pro Max will have a larger battery than Samsung's upcoming Ultra model. Apple has equipped this phone with a 5088mAh battery.
